Forty-One Public School Projects Fast-Tracked
More spaces. Better facilities. Greater access for Alberta families.
Alberta Public Charter Schools welcomes the Government of Alberta’s latest investment in new and modernized school spaces, including projects that will support the continued growth of public charter education.
Demand for public charter schools continues to grow. Ensuring equitable access to capital funding and infrastructure is essential to creating more spaces and giving more Alberta families access to the public education options that meet their children’s needs.
We look forward to continuing to work with government to build on this momentum and ensure public charter schools have the infrastructure they need to grow.
““Having a school in the community is a tremendous benefit for families. It allows students to learn, grow and thrive close to home. These accelerated school projects will help ensure more families across Alberta have access to a local school in their community.”
Demetrios Nicolaides, Minister of Education and Childcare
